16G and 18G State Finalists

Congratulations to both the 16G and 18G Colo teams on reaching the

State Cup Finals.

Colo is the only club in the Nepean District represented at the finals of the FNSW State Cup. To have two teams in the finals is a statement to Colo’s strength in girls and womens football

The finals were held at FNSW headquarters Valentine Park on Sunday 14th July 2013

16G State Cup Champions 2013

The 16G defeated Wakehurst 2-0 to win the title. A fantastic effort as the girls have played 9 games in 7 days. The result of their busy week is they are

NSW State Champions 2013.

The girls will be back working hard this week to try and win the right to represent the Nepean area in Champions of Champions.

Congratulations to the girls also

Coach Mal Fraser and Manager Dianna Rea

18G’s FNSW State Cup Runners Up

The 18G were runners up in their game against the well drilled Seaforth team. A great game played in a sporting attitude by both side. Seaforth were the stronger side on the day but Colo could not be prouder of our 18G’s who dug deep and did not give up striving for the win. Well done girls, Coach Mark Gaffey and Manager Manuella Symington
